Here's the 2000 CNN report on my proposal to convert the Flushing Airport property in Queens, NY to a blimpport. I lobbied NYC officials for about 2 years but Mayor Bloomberg had a different agenda. The property still remains unused.

In 1998, Mayor Rudy Giuliani appeared at a Queens, NY Town Hall Meeting and I spoke about my plans to convert Flushing Airport into a blimpport.
After years of research & development, planning meetings with city and local officials and agencies, and lobbying efforts, the plan was killed by the Bloomberg administration. After spending a small fortune on the project, the New York City Economic Developmment Corporation FAILED to send me a copy of the Request for Proposals that was promised to me. I found out too late to submit my proposal. This was obviously done on purpose. After his illegal third term is over, perhaps the next mayor may see the benefil of a NYC Blimpport!!!
When Tony Danza had a show on ABC-TV, he had a segment called "Extravadanza" where he would ask a home viewer a question where they claimed to have expertise. Mine was the "Goodyear blimp". Check out what happens...
